Perpetual
Special Intention
votive candles
A Promise of Prayer
The candles that are lit for your intentions are known as “votive” candles. The term "votive" comes from the Latin word votum, which means “vow,” “promise,” “dedication,” or simply “prayer.” This reinforces the idea that these candles symbolize our prayers before God.
St. Rose perpetual votive candles are available for $200 per year, and each includes an engraved plate displaying your intention. If you are interested or have any questions, please contact Mercedes in the office.
Church doors
Please note that after Masses, we will be locking the two side doors at St. Rose. The front doors will remain open for entrance and exit. If you typically park near the side doors for convenience, we recommend parking closer to the front of the church instead.

Bereavement support group
A GriefShare support group provides a safe and welcoming environment where individuals can share their experiences with grief. Over the course of this 13-week program, you will learn what to expect in the days ahead and what is considered "normal" in the grieving process. Since grief does not follow a neat, orderly progression, you will discover helpful coping strategies to manage its unpredictability and receive solid support every step of the way. We will utilize a workbook and videos throughout the group sessions. Meetings begin May 1st.
CCW is sponsoring the annual Lenten almsgiving (formerly the brown bag project). This year, monetary donations are being collected to support two local charities: Care and Share food pantry, and the St. Rose Cookie Jar which provides emergency assistance to those in need (gas money, utility bills, emergency housing, etc.). Envelopes are available on trees inside the entrance of the church through Palm Sunday (April 13). Please return the envelopes either to the collection basket or to the parish office. Thank you for your generosity!
